Higher education company upGrad Monday announced the launch of its new brand, “UGDX”. From this brand, 10 institutes are expected to open over the next year. Of those 10 institutes, 3 will be in the United States–specifically one that goes live in San Francisco on January 2023, and two more that will start in New York City by 2020–5 more intend to open in India across Delhi and Chennai, to add to upGrad’s existing facilities in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
s per the press release, UGDX plans to hire around 1000 PhD graduates to teach specialised subjects in their institutes. The plan is also to recruit faculty from various geographies and make use of technology to seamlessly connect campuses, faculty, and corporations within one ecosystem.
UGDX welcomes applications to its programmes in AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, blockchain, connected devices, IoT, quantum computing and digital management. You can study for a certificate, undergraduate programme or graduate diploma. Increasingly UGDX offers programmes at the master’s and doctoral level.
“Every UGDX will have an incubation unit, to invest in IPs and foster budding entrepreneurs to formulate ideas and develop patents,” Dr Dakshinamurthy Kolluru, Founder & CEO, upGrad INSOFE said.
