The Young India Fellowship 2017 is a one year multidisciplinary postgraduate diploma programme in Liberal Studies. Rajiv Gandhi University (Sonepat, Haryana) and Ashoka University is taking applications from all the eligible candidates across India for this fellowship programme. Outstanding intellectual ability and strong leadership are two of the skills that bring together 215 brilliant and clever young minds and the fellowship programme helps them to become driven and committed instrument of change.
An undergraduate or a postgraduate degree from a recognized university
Final year students in their undergraduate and/or postgraduate studies
Not over 28 years of age as of 31st May, 2016.
Anyone and everyone who meets the above criteria are welcome in this fellowship programme. Moreover, applicants from different areas of specialization are also eligible to apply. If the applicant has their vernacular language as the mode of study in their university or college, it is necessary to for them to be able to read, write, and converse in English.
There are 4 stages through which the selection takes place.
Most importantly, there is no application fee to apply to the Young India Fellowship Programme 2017. One can either apply online or download a copy of the applicant form.
Online registration and application can be done by visiting the following website: www.youngindiafellowship.com/Apply.aspx. Once the registration is complete, a system generated automated mail will be sent to the applicants registered email ID.
Another method of application is by downloading the application form from the Young India Fellowship (YIF) website: www.youngindiafellowship.com/Apply.aspx. After receipt of the application, a confirmation email will be sent to the applicants registered email ID.
