In India, the coaching centers are mushrooming over the length and breadth of the country. While many established players in the field function as corporate entities, having multi location services with good reputation- there are also a large number of smaller players, viz institutes run by individual professionals or groups, providing quality education.
Nevertheless there are also fly by night operators or non quality operators too with the objective of making quick money from the students/aspirants. The coaching industry normally does not have any regulatory classifications or controls and hence the students need to be very cautious in selecting their coaching institutes.
The catchy ads normally floated by many coaching institutes should not be taken as the guarantee about the quality of education being imparted by these centers and students are always advised to take proper feed back from fellow students who might have experienced the services of such centers.
In past few years, India has seen the rise of coaching centres that train students for various entrance exams like IIT JEE, AIPMT, CAT, MAT etc. they have been successful in training students in the right way and providing them proper guidance by conducting mock tests and supplying study materials.
