The Training Ship Chanakya, Navi Mumbai popularly known as TS Chanakya, Mumbai an institute of Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Surface Transport; Government of India is situated in the West coast near Mumbai.

The Training Ship Chanakya offers three year degree course in shipping training named B.Sc. in Nautical Sciences.

The B.Sc. in nautical sciences of TS Chanakya is awarded by University of Mumbai. The TS Chanakya also awards three months pre sea training course. The candidates after completion of study and training at TS Chanakya serves on vessels in large.

The Nautical Training imparted in this institution is of a very high quality and in accordance with the norms and standards laid down by the international bodies like the International Maritime Organization (IMO). 

The admission to B.Sc. Nautical Science programme of TS Chanakya is done on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technologies.
