engineering branches in India

Engneering has been and is likely set to continue as one of the most popular undergraduate courses being pursued by students in India. Once a student has decided to pursue an engineering course (Bachelor of Technology, B.Tech. or Bachelor of Engineering, B.E.) after completing school, the most significant question he has is about the engineering specialisation. “Which is the best engineering branch?” is the most common query among many engineering aspirants.

This may happen because of lack of sufficient information about the various options that exist. The engineering colleges and institutes of India offer a multitude of branches that are diverse and span across a wide range of domains.
