Established in 2007, the School works in collaboration with other Schools of the University to develop manpower for a number of sectors, like foreign language requirements for scientists, agricultural experts and trade specialists.

SOH - School of Humanities

The School of Humanities comprises the disciplines of English and Hindi, and also the Editorial Unit and Translation Cell. The School offers Master’s Degree (MA) and Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in both English and Hindi apart from a number of certificate, diploma and post-graduate diploma programs.

The area of Engineering and Technology was identified in the early years, keeping in view the emerging need of continuing education and re-training requirements of those at work.Diploma in Civil Engineering (General) (DCLE(G)). Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) is one of the courses offered by this School.

SOGDS - School of Gender and Development Studies

SOITS - School of Inter-Disciplinary and Trans-Disciplinary Studies

Established in 2007, the school has launched a number of programs, both in-house and in partnership with external collaborators. In-house offerings include Master of Arts in Labour and Development, Master of Arts in Social Anthropology, Master of Arts in Gandhi and Peace Studies, and Diploma in Folklore and Culture Studies while courses like Aurobindo Studies, Integral Studies, Sanskrit language and Astrophysics are launched in collaboration with other institutes and organisations.
