Activities

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan undertakes the following activities

•  Establishes Campuses in different States.
•  Conducts teaching of Sanskrit on traditional lines at. Secondary, Under- graduate, Graduate, Post-graduate and Doctorate levels.
• Conducts teachers’ training at graduate level i.e. B. Ed.
• Conducts and coordinates research work in various disciplines of Sanskrit learning.
• Cooperates with other organisations in sponsoring joint projects of common interest.
• Establishes Sanskrit libraries, manuscripts collection centers and also edits and publishes rare manuscripts and books of importance.

Programs

The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan is committed for the promotion of Sanskrit language in India and hence offers the following programmes of study –

• Prak Shastri – Equivalent to 10 + 2
• Shastri – Equivalent to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
• Shiksha Shastri – Equivalent to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
• Acharya – Equivalent to Master of Arts (M.A.)
• Vidya Varidhi – Equivalent to Ph.D.

Distance Education (Correspondence Courses)

The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan offers introductory courses in Sanskrit through correspondence. The courses offered in English as well Hindi medium are open for both Indian Nationals as well as foreigners. The courses cover all the important items of Sanskrit language and grammar.
