CUET UG 2023: In order for you to crack the CUET Political Science test, take into account the following vital advice. The exam is going to be held on May 21.

CUET UG 2023

CUET UG 2023: Political science is a vast subject that requires a thorough comprehension of the principles to do well on tests. In order to prepare for Political Science in CUET, a specific set of units and subtopics have been established by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Here are some vital pointers for your consideration to crack the CUET Political Science exam, which is scheduled for May 21.

Also read: DU NCWEB Students protest due to withholding of exam results.

A good study resource

Choosing the appropriate study material is essential for focusing your preparations. It is crucial to make sure that your study materials include both the syllabus for the CUET and the class 12 board exam. Books like “Contemporary World Politics” and “Politics in India Since Independence” are other good resources.

Reviewing significant subjects

Dates associated with the World Wars, US hegemony, the World Trade Organization, alternative centres of power, the European Union, and Chinese economic rights are a few significant issues to concentrate on in this regard.

IndiaEducation Counselling

Additionally, it is essential that students completely prepare and revise the following units:

India’s politics since independence: the difficulties of building a nation, the era of one-party rule, the politics of planned development, India’s international relations, the challenges to and restoration of the congress system, the constitutional order’s crisis, the rise of new social movements, the democratic upsurge, coalition politics, and recent developments in Indian politics.

Globalization and its opposers: The end of the “Second World” and the collapse of bipolarity, alternative centres of economic and political power, South Asia in the post-cold war era, international organisations in a unipolar world, security in the modern world, and the Cold War era in world politics are all examples of contemporary world politics.

Plan out your preparation.

Since political science relies heavily on memory, it is crucial to study the principles and repeatedly memorise and review the topics. Start by setting reasonable expectations and organising your preparation into achievable portions. Establish a schedule and set out time for practise and revision. To make your revision process simpler, consult NCERT books, highlight crucial ideas, and take notes.

Take practise exams

Practice some sample MCQ questions once you have a good grasp of the principles. To evaluate your readiness for the exam, take a number of practise exams and finish tests from prior years.

Regular revision will let you retain the knowledge you have acquired and make sure you utilise all pertinent material, so make sure to do this. Set aside particular times for revision, and do it frequently using your notes and textbooks.

You can easily clear the CUET political science exam if you use the correct study materials, have a clear preparation approach, and consistently put that strategy into effect. To succeed, be concentrated and utilise the time at hand to the most.

Students from Delhi University’s Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) demonstrated against the withholding of exam results for a number of students on Monday. The university’s exam branch hosted the demonstration.

According to Krantikari Yuva Sangathan (KYS), a student organisation, several students’ semester results have been delayed by officials who assert that the students’ registration forms include flaws.

“The students have paid money on the site, yet even after providing the fee slips, the officials continue to hold them responsible for the delay in the announcement of the exam results, claiming that their registration form and admission cards were only “provisional” and not final.

NCWEB students’ second, third, and fourth semester exam results have not yet been released. While the pandemic was going on, these tests were given online. The university’s administration was silent right away.

Additionally, the students claim that although they appeared in the tests, several of them were marked absent by the officials.

According to the KYS, “the DU and NCWEB officials’ apathy knows no bounds as when a student in absolute rage accused them of ruining her academic future, the official apathetically remarked that even if several students commit suicide, it would not matter much.”

India had 51,000 MBBS seats eight years ago; as of now, there are 1,02,026 seats available. The number of PG seats has increased from the previous 34,000 to 64,000, according to the health minister.

UG and PG seats will be balanced

Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, declared on Saturday that he intends to equalize UG and PG seats in medical education over the next four years.

“India had 51,000 MBBS seats eight years ago; currently, there are 1,02,026 seats available. The number of PG seats has increased from the previous 34,000 to 64,000. To give all of our doctors the chance to continue postgraduate studies, I have set the goal of levelling UG and PG seats in the upcoming four years, the minister stated.

IndiaEducation Counselling

In Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Mandaviya was giving a speech at the 13th Annual Conference of the Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. He added that medical schools can decide for themselves whether or not they will be approved in the future.

“We want our doctors to have the greatest training possible. The Command and Control Center currently oversees all of the medical schools in the nation. We are monitoring every medical college through AI — the infrastructure, the number of OPDs, the number of procedures, the number of patients seen in a day, etc. The number of seats at medical colleges can be evaluated by the institutions themselves, as can the likelihood of approval.

Mandaviya also extended an invitation to medical specialists from the Indian diaspora to fund research and establish hospital chains in the nation with “guaranteed business.” At the “Heal In India, Heal By India” expo, which will be held in April and May of this year, more than 70 countries will sign MoUs between hospitals, between countries, and between hospitals, he said.

Indian students may substitute their GATE score for their GRE score at a few overseas colleges in Singapore and Germany. Verify which overseas colleges recognise the results of this exam.

For PG admissions

One of the most important tests in India is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). This admission exam measures a candidate’s thorough comprehension of numerous engineering and science undergraduate courses. On behalf of the National Coordination Board, it is carried out yearly by seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Guwahati, Roorkee, Madras, and Kharagpur) and IISc Bangalore.

Despite the fact that the GATE score is only accepted for admission to certain post-graduate programmes in India, several institutions in Singapore and Germany also accept the GATE score as proof of eligibility.

IndiaEducation Counselling

Nanyang Technological University-Singapore

The GATE score is accepted by the Singapore-based university as proof of eligibility for admission to postgraduate programmes. While the GRE and TOEFL scores are required for all foreign and overseas applicants, Indian citizens have the choice of substituting the GATE for the GRE and the TOEFL for the IELTS.

The official website states that the minimum GATE percentile score must be equal to or higher than 90%. The GATE score, however, should not be older than three years.

Technical University of Munich

Indian candidates have the opportunity to submit GATE results in place of the GRE at the technical institution, which is situated in Germany. Furthermore, holders of degrees from Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) are exempt from submitting a second GATE qualifying certificate. Also, neither a GATE nor a GRE are required while applying for Studienkolleg.

All master’s degree programmes offered by the Department of Informatics at this university require a GATE score (minimum score: QR 164, AW 4.0). The MSc Mathematics in Data Science, MSc Materials Science and Engineering, MSc Matter to Life: MSc Computational Mechanics, MSc ESCAPE, and MSc Environmental Engineering are other programmes that demand a GATE score.

RWTH Aachen University-Germany

The RWTH Aachen University says that an Indian candidate should have a minimum grade in the school leaving certificate and should have passed additional entrance examinations. However, this is only for masters level programmes at the varsity.

National University of Singapore

Indian applicants are free to take the GATE exam in place of the GRE at NUS Singapore. The university’s rules say that graduates of Indian universities may submit GATE scores in lieu of other credentials.

This applies primarily to masters-level programmes like the Master of Science in Digital Financial Technology, the Master of Science in Information Systems, the Master of Science in Infocomm Security, and the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSc DFinTech).
