The Department of Commerce in University of Calcutta was established in 1922. Since 2005, the department started offering finance management program leading to the award of Master of Business Administration (MBA). Graduate students in any discipline viz, arts, science, commerce, computers etc may apply for admission into this program. The course is rated as one of the best management courses in India by academic and industry experts. The program is open to Indian as well foreign nationals. Candidates who have scored in Common Admission Test (CAT) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT) may apply for admission. Candidates are short listed on the basis of CAT / MAT Score and called for Group Discussion and Interview.
