FMGE 2022 exam postponed to January 20; revised schedule for December session here

The National Board of Education (NBE) has postponed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December exam. The decision to reschedule FMGE exam 2022 was taken due to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections by the Delhi State Election Commission to be held on December 4, 2022.

FMGE December 2022 exam will now be held on January 20, 2023. “Deficiency related to documents uploaded (Proof of possessing Primary Medical Qualification, attestation of Primary Medical Qualification certificate by Indian Embassy concerned/apostille, Eligibility Certificate/Admission Letter, Identity Proof of Citizenship etc) can now be rectified by 15th December 2022,” the official NBE notice read.

The online correction window to rectify deficiencies in their documents will be open from December 24 to 30 for candidates who fail to upload by December 15. “The deficient documents can only be submitted through an Online Deficient Document Submission Portal.”

Candidates will be able to access the demo test tentatively from January 10, 2023, onwards. The FMGE December 2022 admit cards will now be issued on January 13, 2023. The result for FMGE December 2022 will be declared by February 10, 2023, as per the revised schedule.

NBEMS conducts a screening test in June and December every year for Indians with medical degrees from foreign universities to qualify for practice medicine in India.
