JNUEE 2022 To Start From Today, Know Exam Day Guidelines, Documents To Carry

The JNUEE 2022 will be held on December 7-10 in two shifts: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

The National Testing Agency will commence the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination for admission to Ph.D. programs today, December 7, 2022. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – the first session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 

The JNUEE 2022 will be a computer-based test and the duration of the exam will be three hours. The question paper will contain a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. There is no negative marking. The medium of the exam is English.

Documents to Carry to the Exam Center

  • Admit card
  • One passport-size photograph
  • Any one of the government photo IDs, PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, aadhaar card (with the photograph), aadhaar enrolment no, ration card
  • PwD certificate

Exam day guidelines

  • Reporting time for the exam starts two hours before the exam is scheduled to begin. Candidates are advised to report to the center on time to avoid any issues.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center after 8:30 am for the first session and after 1:30 pm for the second session.
  • Candidates are not allowed to bring any bags or belongings into the exam center.
  • Candidates are not allowed to bring in any written materials, calculators, docu pens, slide rules, log tables, or electronic watches with calculator functions. 
  • They also cannot have any printed or written material, bits of paper, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, pagers, or any other electronic gadgets or devices.
  • Instrument cases, geometry boxes, pencil cases, handbags, purses, or any other kind of paper or stationery are also not allowed. Candidates are also not allowed to bring food or drinks into the examination hall.
