The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the body recognised by the central government of India for admitting students to B. Tech programmes at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs based on their JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. JoSAA is in charge of the counselling procedure for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced qualifying candidates. Candidates must verify that they meet the eligibility requirements in order to participate in JoSAA 2022 counselling. The registration process for JoSAA counselling 2022 will start on September 12th. JoSAA counselling 2022 is for candidates who wish to take admitted into the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). The counselling process for admission into BTech Engineering programmes in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) will be held separately. The JoSAA counselling process for 2021 has been announced, and the opening rank for NIT Tiruchirappalli’s BTech CSE programme for open category candidates is 2,243. The closing rank is 5,432. For female candidates, the NIT Tiruchirappalli opening and closing ranks are 4,133 and 7,464 respectively. JoSAA will conduct the counselling process for admission to 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 Other-GFTIs.
Candidates who wish to apply for JoSAA Counselling in 2022 must register online, pay a processing fee, and fill out their choices from the official website: josaa.nic.in. Admission to NITs through JoSAA counselling will be based on cut-off scores for both opening and closing ranks.
