Steps of KCET 2022 Counselling

All candidates who have qualified for the KCET 2022 can apply for counselling. The KCET 2022 counselling process is mandatory for all students who wish to be considered for college admission. The steps for the counselling process are as follows:

1. Register for the counselling process
2. Fill out the application form
3. Submit the required documents
4. Attend the counselling session
5. Pay the counselling fees

After document verification is complete, candidates should visit the official website and enter the required credentials to open the page and update their course and institution preferences. Before entering any preferences, candidates should check the course-wise, institution-wise, and category-wise seat matrix released by the concerned authority on the official website. This way, they can have a better understanding of what colleges and courses have available seats. Once they have this information, candidates should select their college and course preferences in order of importance to them. After filling in their choices, candidates should lock in the list of preferences.

After the candidates fill in their preferred choices, the mock seat allotment list will be released on the official website. The mock seat allotment helps the candidates understand the chances of admission based on their rank and choice preference. The candidates can change their choices after the mock seat allotment. After that, three rounds of counselling will be held. If the candidates are satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they can take a printout of the provisional allotment letter to show it at the allotted institution.
