NEET PG Counselling 2022: MCC Issues Notice To Put On Hold Mop-Up Round Registration

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the National Eligibility  Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2022 counselling mop-up round registration process will be held. This decision has been made as many Postgraduate Diplomate of National Board (PG DNB) institutions have taken offline admission of candidates.

The MCC has announced that it will not be considering the admission process of any institutes which has not been generated through the MCC portal and will be regarded as “Null and Void”. The admission to the PG DNB institutes if not reported online, the seats will automatically appear in the mop-up round seat matrix processing.

The MCC has announced that the registration for the mop-up round of PG counselling for 2022 will begin today, 31 October 2022. However, many PG DNB institutes have already taken offline admissions for Round 2 of PG counselling for 2022. All admissions that are not generated through the MCC portal will be considered as ‘Null & Void’ and if not reported online, those seats will automatically become available for processing during the Mop Up Round.

“We will be opening up the registration for the Mop Up Round of PG Counseling 2022 in due course,” the statement said. “We have kept the registration module on hold for now so that institutes can submit details of admissions taken offline on the portal. Candidates are advised to keep checking the website for updates.”

The NEET PG 2022 counselling mop-up round registration is set to begin today, October 31. Candidates who were not allotted seats in NEET PG 2022 counselling rounds 1 and 2 will be able to submit their registrations in the mop-up round.

For the candidates who have taken offline admission for NEET PG counselling round 2, the following are the PG DNB institutes: Surya Mother and Child Care Jaipur Pvt Ltd, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Civil Hospital Shillong, Dhayal Hospital and Research Centre, Rajasthan; Fehmicare Hospital, Bharat Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research and Rehabilitation for the Disabled Hospital (BIRRD).
