Work experience (preferred), relevant educational qualifications, New Zealand bachelor’s degree equivalent score and English language proficiency are the main requirements to get admission to study at the postgraduate level at The University of Auckland. The Asian Development Bank Japan Scholarship award covers only limited set of postgraduate programs under it, viz.

• Master of Public Health
• Master of Science (Environmental Science)
• Master of Arts (Development Studies)
• Master of International Business
• Master of Commerce (International Business)
• Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, Master and Doctoral programs in Engineering

Applicants from certain regions of the Pacific Islands and Asia are eligible for this scholarship considering they are not working, studying or living outside their home country.

The application process is done online and the scholarship is awarded for a period of one year.
