From 16 march to 26 March school will be closed in Puducherry because of H3N2 Flu outbreak

The government of Puducherry has announced that schools in the region will remain closed from March 16 to March 26 due to concerns over the H3N2 flu. The decision has been taken in the wake of an increase in the number of H3N2 flu cases reported in the region.
This measure has been implemented as a precautionary step to prevent the spread of the virus among students and faculty. Symptoms of H3N2 flu include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, and fatigue. While most people recover from the illness within a few days, it can be severe in some cases and may lead to hospitalization and even death.
The government has advised people to take precautions such as washing hands regularly with soap and water, covering the mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing, and avoiding close contact with sick people.The closure of schools has been welcomed by parents and teachers alike, who have expressed concerns about the safety of students in the wake of the H3N2 flu outbreak.
