National Testing Agency, NTA has released an important notice for JEE Main Exam 2023 Session 1. The notice has been released only for Tamil Nadu students who want to appear for Joint Entrance Examination 2023. Candidates can check the official notice on the official site of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
As per the official notice, the Agency has decided that candidates of Tamil Nadu who have passed the Class 10 examination in year 2021 can apply for the JEE Main exam. The options of ‘passing year’ and ‘school board’ will be disabled and the associated fields for Marks/CGPA will be invisible for Tamil Nadu State Board candidates who have passed their Class 10 in year 2021.
This decision was taken after the Agency received a few representations from the candidates of Tamil Nadu State Board who have passed their Class 10 examination in the year 2021.
The official notice reads, “due to the COVID outbreak, no examinations were conducted for 2021 batch of Class 10. Accordingly no marks were given in the marksheet and ‘pass’ is printed in all subjects with a disclaimer – “As per G.O. (Ms) No. 48, School Education (G.E.) department dated: 25.02.2021, all candidates who studied SSLC in the academic year 2020-21 are declared passed.”
CLAT 2023: Final Answer Key Released, Know How To Download
After taking into consideration all of the representations made against the provisional answer key, the final answer key has been released.
The consortium of National Law Universities today released the final answer key for CLAT 2023. Candidates who have appeared for Common Law Admission Test, (CLAT) can check the final answer key at the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in
CLAT 2023 examination was conducted on Dec 18, 2022, and the provisional answer Key was released on the same day. Candidates who had appeared in the CLAT exam have until December 20 to raise any objection against the final answer key.

The final answer key has been released after taking into consideration all the representations received against the provisional answer key.
Candidates who score at least 40 percent marks are considered to pass the exam and are eligible for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. For reserved category candidates, the cut-off is 35 percent, as per the rules.
JEE Advanced 2023: Exam Dates Released! Registration To Start From This Date
JEE Advanced 2023 will be held on 4 June as per the official release. Online registrations will start on 30 April at 10 am and close on 4 May at 5 pm.
The official notification for The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2023 has been released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati. Candidates who are interested and eligible can check the official website i.e. jeeadv.ac.in for more information.
JEE Advanced 2023 will be held on 4 June as per the official release. Online registrations will start on 30 April at 10 am and close on 4 May at 5 pm.
Candidates who have registered must make their fee payments by 5 May at 5 pm in order to confirm their participation in the exam.
The registration fee for female candidates, SC, ST, and PwD Candidates is ₹1450 and ₹2900 for All Other Candidates.
For international students, the fee for the candidates residing in SAARC Countries is $90 and for Non-SAARC countries is $180.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Bangalore has announced the CAT exam results for 2022 on its official website, iimcat.ac.in. Students who appeared in the exam can check their results and download their scorecards by entering their CAT login ID and password. After the announcement of the exam results, IIM admissions will begin based on the CAT 2022 cutoffs.
The CAT toppers list for 2022 was released on Wednesday, showing that engineers continue to dominate the field. This is the pathway to the Indian Institutes of Management, and around 2.22 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, which was held on November 27. Out of the total, 35 percent were female and 65 percent male.
A total of four females made the list of 55 toppers who scored between 100 to 99.98 percentiles – last year, there was only one female in this category. In addition, 74.5 percent of the toppers are engineers.
Among the candidates who scored 100 percentile, two are from Delhi, Maharashtra, and Telangana, and one is from Gujarat, Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. The lone candidate with a non-engineering background comes from Uttar Pradesh.

CTET 2022: CBSE Released CTET Pre-Admit Card At ctet.nic.in, Know How To Download
The pre-admit cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on the official website. The latest updates are given below.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CTET 2022 pre-admit cards on its official website. Candidates can now download their hall tickets from the website ctet.nic.in.
The examination will be conducted in two shifts– Shift 1 will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon and Shift 2 will be conducted from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. The exact date and shift of examination will be mentioned on the admit card of the candidate.
CTET-Paper I is for those who want to teach classes I to V, and Paper II is for those who want to teach classes VI to VIII. Aspiring teachers who want to teach both lower and upper levels will have to take both papers.
BPSC 68th CCE: Know The Major Changes Made to the Marking Scheme of Prelims Here

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced on Tuesday that it would be making some changes to the exam pattern and marking scheme of the 68th Combined Competitive Preliminary and Mains (BPSC 68th CCE Prelims, Mains) examination. These changes include a reduction in marks for the optional paper of the Mains exam, as well as negative marking for all questions in the Prelims exam.
The optional paper in the 68th Mains examination will carry only 100 marks, as per the official notice. Further, the optional paper in the Mains exam will be Multiple-Choice question (MCQ) based, the commission said.
Thus, the marking scheme in the 68th Mains will be:
While all candidates must qualify in the General Hindi paper to be eligible for the merit list, only the general studies 1, 2 and essay papers will be considered. This means that the optional paper will not be considered for merit.
However, all candidates are still required to qualify in the optional paper, as stated in the notice by the BPSC.
Negative Marking in all questions of Prelims Examination
According to the BPSC, negative marking will be applied to all 150 questions in the Prelims exam uniformly. This means that for each correct answer, candidates will receive 1 mark, and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from their total score.
In addition, the BPSC has announced that the deadline for applications has been extended to December 30. Candidates who are interested in taking the 68th Prelims exam can apply on bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Edtech Company Byju’s Allegedly Buying Phone Numbers Of Kids, Threatening Parents: NCPCR Chief
The commission has summoned Byju’s CEO, Byju Raveendran, to appear in person on December 23 over alleged malpractice of hard selling and misselling of its courses for students.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) chief said on Tuesday that the commission has allegedly found out that Byju is buying phone numbers of children and their parents, and threatened them that their future will be ruined if they don’t buy their courses.
The NCPCR chief said, “We came to know how Byju’s buying phone numbers of children & their parents, rigorously following them & threatening them that their future will be ruined. They’re targeting first-generation learners. We’ll initiate action & if need be will make report & write to govt.”

The NCPCR has summoned BYJU’s CEO Byju Raveendran, asking him to appear in person on December 23 over alleged malpractice of hard selling and mis-selling of its courses for students.
The Commission took action based on a news report that the sales team of BYJU’S may have been indulging in malpractices to lure parents into buying their courses for their children.
The Commission stated that the news report claimed that BYJU’S had been deceptively getting customers to agree to loans for courses that can’t be refunded. The article also alleged that the ed-tech platform had been receiving complaints from parents but had been neglecting them, the child rights panel said.

The IIT JEE, UPSC, and GATE have all been featured as some of the toughest exams in the world by Erudera – an online education search platform. IIT JEE has been specifically ranked as the toughest exam in India and the second toughest in the world; this is due to the fact that the acceptance rates into IITs are a mere one percent.
“With increased competition, the exam’s difficulty is also increasing yearly. Over 1.2 million candidates appear every year, for around 11,000 seats in 23 different IITs,” the report stated.
After the IIT JEE exam, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil service exam has been placed at the third spot in this list; making it the second toughest exam in India.
The average preparation time for the UPSC exam is at least one year. According to the list, around 500,000 students take the prelims for less than 1,000 seats. The success rate ranges from 0.1 to 0.4 percent. Passing the second stage means you get to interview with a panel that will assess your personality, awareness, and reasoning. UPSC has around 67,000 monthly searches.
The third toughest exam in India is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The average preparation time for the GATE exam is six months. According to the report, nearly 8 lakh to 1 million candidates apply for the exam, but an average of 16 to 18 percent of them qualify for the test.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced the exam dates for JEE Main 2023. The JEE Main 2023 will be conducted twice this year- in January and April. The JEE Main exam dates 2023 for January are January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and April sessions April 06, 08, 10, 11, and 12.
Candidates who are interested in getting admission into the NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs are required to apply and qualify for the JEE Main exam 2023. However, aspirants seeking BTech admission into IITs are also required to appear for the JEE Main exam. To be eligible for Advanced, candidates must rank within the top 2,50,000 qualifiers.
To be eligible for JEE Advanced exam, candidates must not only perform well in the NTA JEE Main exam but also meet other requirements such as age limit, number of attempts, and Class 12th performance. A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times within two consecutive years. Additionally, he or she must have been born on or after October 1, 1998.
