DU UG Admissions 2022 The registration deadline has been extended to October 10

The Delhi University UG admissions for 2022 started on September 13 but the deadline has now been extended to October 10 due to high demand. As of yesterday evening, 93465 candidates had already registered on the DU website. This year, the DU admission process won’t take the percentile score into consideration. Only normalized scores in a set of subjects will be considered for admissions.

Candidates can fill out their preferences for programs and colleges from September 26th. The first cut-off date will be on or before October 10th. The DU admission process is being carried out through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2022 dashboard. Candidates can select their preferences within the last date.

The Dispute Resolution Committee at DU is here to help you resolve any disputes you may have with your college should they fail to do so within a reasonable timeframe. We understand that this can be a stressful and confusing time, so we want to help you get the resolution you deserve in a timely manner.

“The program-specific merit score will be automatically calculated by the university according to the eligibility criteria,” the university said. “Before making their preferences, candidates will need to confirm their scores. It is in the best interest of the candidate to choose as many programs and programme+college combinations as possible. Candidates must complete their form well in advance, and not wait until the last minute. We advise that candidates fill out the CSAS (UG) 2022 form with care.”

Candidates Scored More In Humanities Paper Than Science In CUET 2022

This year, the competition to get admitted to popular courses at reputed Central universities is likely to be tougher for humanities students than for those studying science subjects.

The results, announced Friday, show that the score, after normalization, required to find a place in the top 95-100 percentile bracket is as high as 92.5% in the case of English. This means that if you want to be in the top 5% of English scores, you need to get at least a 93%. The corresponding percentage for Mathematics is 51.5, which means that to be in the top 5% for Maths scores, you need to get at least a 52%.scoring 185.9 in English and 103.7 in Math on the 200 point scale (maximum score possible in each subject) puts a student in the top percentile bracket for admission into Delhi University. However, we won’t have a clear idea of how competitive the admissions process is until after students have been admitted into the university.

The National Testing Agency’s CUET (Common University Entrance Test) was introduced this year as a single gateway exam to provide a level playing field for students from different Boards and educational backgrounds.

The latest CUET results show that the score equivalent to the 95th percentile is as follows: History 165.4 or 82.7 percent; Psychology 190.9 or 95.45 percent; Economics 175.8 or 87.9; Hindi 171.09 or 85.5 percent while Sociology is an exception with a requirement of 157.4 or 78.7 percent.

The new CUET exam, administered by the National Testing Agency, was introduced this year as a single gateway exam to ameliorate the soaring cut-offs and Class XII Board marks given the great diversity in how different Boards evaluate students.

The CUET UG 2022 Result The Method To Calculate Equipercentile

Many students are concerned about their results after the CUET UG 2022 result was declared late on Thursday night. The equipercentile method, which was used to normalize scores, is worrying some students. Here’s what it means.

To calculate the normalized marks of each candidate, we use the percentiles of each group of students who appeared for the same subject but on different days in a given session. This ensures that the evaluation is fair and that the same scale is used for all candidates regardless of the session they have appeared in. This makes their performance comparable across the different sessions.

The CUET scorecard contains both the percentile and the normalized marks of the student in each subject. The percentiles indicate the relative performance of a student among a set of students who wrote the test in a given shift in a subject.”Using the equipercentile method, the percentiles of the students are converted into normalized marks taking into account the difficulty levels of multiple sessions. The difficulty levels vary from session to session in the same subject,” said UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar.

“It’s possible that on the CUET scorecard, you might see that in one subject, the percentile is higher than the normalized marks, and in another subject, the percentile is lower than the normalized marks,” he explained. “Students shouldn’t worry about these differences, because the CUET normalization formula was decided by a panel of experts from the Indian Statistical Institute, IIT Delhi, and Delhi University. Universities can use these normalized marks for preparing the rank lists for admissions,” he added.

The first day of the offline mode for the UPSC Mains exam for civil services aspirants across various exam centers in India went smoothly. In comparison to last year, this year’s essay paper for UPSC Mains was much more conventional in topic and approach. While last year’s paper was more focused on the English language and abstraction, this year’s topics were more expected and straightforward. For example, ‘The best time to fix your roof is while the sun is shining is a quote that many people are familiar with. This would have given the young writers some good ideas to work with, and they would have been able to write essays that would score well.

Similarly, many students would have thought on the lines of — use of best case studies for economic excellence, talking about efficient use of resources, beating scarcity, interdependence, sustainability, etc. — while preparing for the exam in detail. Another topic was a quote by Narayan Murthy, founder of Infosys, ‘A ship is safest at the harbor, but that is not where it is supposed to be.’

Heraclitus was onto something when he said, “No man ever steps in the same river twice.” The idea that change is the only constant is a relevant one when discussing entrepreneurship, taking risks, and overcoming challenges. These are all topics that students have been contemplating during their preparation for this class. The ancient Greek philosopher was saying that everything is in a state of flux and that nothing is permanent. This is a relevant concept when discussing entrepreneurship because it is all about taking risks and overcoming challenges. These topics have been on the minds of students as they prepare for this class.

History can be seen as the advance of science or romanticism. Romanticism is like being a tourist, visiting places, and being superficial, not getting in-depth about it, whereas science is an art, a collective effort. Science triumphs over romance as it is about catching the material reality, the bull by a horn. Science has been prevailing.

For the candidates who like to explore more behavioral or interpersonal topics, they could pick – ‘Smile is the best device, is often the device that hides ambiguities.’ In this topic, we can dissect smiles and the variety of smiles we see in our everyday lives.

CUET UG Result 2022: List of 12 Students Score 100 Percentile In All 5 subjects.

The total number of 100 percentiles in 30 domains and the general test has been 19,865 candidates and the overall number of 100 percentiles including the 31 languages and vocational subjects is 21,159.

At least 12 candidates scored 100 percentile normalized score in all five subjects in the debut edition of the Common University Entrance Test-UG while 104 got the perfect score in four subjects, according to the National Testing Agency. Girls outshone boys in the CUET-UG as well as board and several other entrance exams — seven are girls among the candidates who scored 100 percentile in five subjects, while 76 girls scored 100 percentile in four subjects. The results for the first edition of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG were declared on Friday, September 16.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) said the rank lists will be prepared by universities on the basis of “normalised” scores and not percentile or raw marks. A total of 21,159 candidates — 12,799 female and 8,360 male students — have scored 100 percentile in at least one subject.

The CUET results also indicate that admission to Humanities and Commerce courses in many sought-after colleges will continue to remain difficult, while it would be comparatively easier to secure a seat in the Sciences.

The “normalisation” of marks in CUET UG has left several aspirants disappointed as they found their marks reduced from their original scores, making it difficult for them to get their dream college. While UGC chief Jagadesh Kumar claimed the normalisation has been done to provide a “level playing field” to all candidates, the students termed the process “unfair”.

The program will cover various aspects of EVs through an in-depth curriculum and exposure. Furthermore, Hero Electric will assign a technical expert to facilitate the Curriculum Advisory Group (CAG) formed by DSEU by leveraging the company’s expertise and supporting DSEU’s strategy of providing a comprehensive education to students.
