IIT JAM 2023: The Joint Admission Test (JAM) is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology ( IITs) for admission to Integrated Ph.D degree programs at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) and M.Sc (2 year), Joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc-Ph.D Dual Degree, M.Sc-M.Tech and other Post-Bachelor’s degree programs at the 13 IITs.
In a given academic year, any one of the IITs take the responsibility for conducting the JAM test. IITs offer post graduate education in different disciplines of basic and applied sciences. These institutes have been administering JAM since 2004 for admission to M.Sc. and other Post B.Sc. courses. The main objective of the JAM test is to encourage science as a career option.
JAM 2023 qualified students will also have to appear for an interview for admission to the following programs:

JAM 2023 has seven test papers out of which a candidate can appear for either one or a maximum of two test papers. There is an additional fee for taking the second test paper. Candidates may register online only for JAM 2023 from 7 September 2022 to 11 October 2022.
Apply online through JAPS (JAM online Application Processing System). On JAPS you can register and apply for JAM 2023, check your application, download your admit card, know your JAM 2022 result and download your score card, etc.
The online application form can be filled out or modified till you pay the application fee. Fee can be paid online ONLY.
Interested candidates must have scored at least 55% (general & OBC) or 50% (SC/ ST and PD) in their qualifying degree. Detailed eligibility criteria for various M.Sc programmes can be accessed on the eligibility criteria page.
