Two teachers at a school in Silvassa, including the vice-principal, were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly raping a 14-year-old student. The accused also threatened the minor girl and warned her of dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to others, the police said.

A case was registered at the Silvassa police station against two people under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and the Information Technology Act. The superintendent of police said in a statement that the accused are facing charges of rape of a minor, gang rape, unnatural intercourse, criminal intimidation, and aggravated sexual assault.

A local law enforcement official said that an FIR was filed on August 29th and that the victim’s statement was recorded along with a medical examination being conducted. On the same day, both of the accused were arrested and brought in front of a local court where they were remanded in police custody until September 3rd.

Urmila Gaikwad and her son cleared the class 10th examination together. Read on to know the story of Urmila, from being a swimming pool cleaner to clearing class 10th exams.

Mother son duo clear class 10th

Urmila Gaikwad’s story is one of inspiration. As a swimming coach at Orchids The International School, Kharadi, Urmila decided to complete her own education along with her son’s. This ambitious woman had to drop out of school after Class 7 due to some financial reasons, but she turned her life around when she relocated to Pune with her husband and son in 2007.

Urmilla’ story from Swimming Pool Cleaner to Swimming Coach

When Urmilla started working as a swimming pool cleaner, she suddenly became interested in learning to swim herself and decided to become an instructor. With the help of her then-manager, she completed her certification course in 2011. After that, she started participating in competitions and receiving accolades. In 2011, she also started working as a professional swimming coach in various schools.

Why did Urmilla decide to complete her education?

She progressed quickly as a coach but faced difficulty communicating with the children she was training. She realized that her confidence was low as she hadn’t completed her education during childhood.

Most of the good schools refused her candidature as a swimming coach owing to her insufficient school education. These hurdles only made her more resilient, and she decided to overcome them by enrolling herself as a private student in Class 10 while her son was also studying in the same grade as a regular student.

Clearing Class 10

Urmila’s determination resulted in her passing the exam with 45% marks. This was enough motivation for her to continue and enroll as a regular student in Class 11 along with her son. Despite what others thought of her, she did exceptionally well on her Class 12 board exam and scored 71%.

Urmila has always been a motivated individual, and her desire to learn and achieve has not wavered throughout her life. Even now, she is continuing her education by learning communicative English and pursuing a graduate degree in the arts. For the females in her family, Urmila has also been an excellent role model. Her co-sister was so inspired by Urmila’s journey and achievements that she decided to enroll in Class 12 exams herself.

jamia student protest

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) students staged a protest on Tuesday over the admission cancellation of activist Safoora Zargar. According to the students, the university administration is targeting Safoora as she was at the forefront of many protests.

Safoora Zargar was arrested in 2022 in a case related to the riot in northeast Delhi. Her admission was canceled by the sociology department, citing “unsatisfactory” progress in her thesis work.

In 2019, Zargar began her integrated MPhil/PhD program at the Department of Sociology. Zargar joined the demonstration along with a number of other student groups, such as the Campus Front of India, the Fraternity Movement, and the Students’ Islamic Organization of India (SIO).

SIO national secretary Rameses E. K. said that “There is no reason not to give her (Zargar) an extension. The university is intentionally targeting her and making her submission impossible. It is saying that her progress is not satisfactory, which is quite arbitrary”.

In a notification released on August 26, 2022, the office of the dean, faculty of social science, said that Zarker did not submit her MPhil thesis within the maximum stipulated time of five semesters. According to the dean’s office, the decision to discipline her was based on a recommendation made by the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) on July 5. The matter was approved by the department’s Board of Studies on August 22.

Actor Suniel Shetty shares five productivity hacks to get the most out of the day.

Read to know the five productivity hacks shared by Actor, suniel shetty, to make the most out of the day.

Covid Breaking News For Facebook Post 5

Productivity is one of the most important skills that every person should adopt in their lives. Students frequently struggle with procrastination and difficulty finishing tasks on time; in this situation, adopting productivity in their lives could greatly benefit them.

Actor and entrepreneur, Suniel Shetty, took to LinkedIn and shared five productivity hacks that can help you to make the most out of your day and get things done. Let’s take a look at these hacks.

1.Start Early

According to Sunil Shetty, starting your day early can help you be more productive. The actor wrote, “I’m usually up by 5 am. I spend my mornings doing things that are good for my soul – yoga, chai with Amma, time with the family, and my dogs! I try to avoid gadgets or screens until it’s time to leave home. “

The practice has made a huge impact on the actor’s life, and he says he cannot recommend it enough.

2. Compartmentalize

The actor wrote, “As I grow older, I’m getting greedier – I want to get healthier, I want all my ventures to succeed, I want to collaborate with every interesting person I meet, I want to explore every opportunity that comes my way, and I want to be the best version of myself. This means my days are packed, and I’m always moving from one thing to the next. So, I compartmentalize my time.”

3. Delegate

“ Don’t be afraid to delegate. You should be in charge of the big picture – that’s your end game. However, you can’t do it all. Your team is as good as its weakest player. And the only way to keep improving, as a team, is to give everyone a role, and the space & time to flourish.”

4. Don’t complain. Adapt.

“Let’s face it. There will be situations, over which you’ll have no control. Don’t let those put you off. Instead, adapt, and figure what best you can do to work around it. Not only is complaining unconstructive, it builds a negative mindset.”

The actor shared an example of this point. He shared that he spends around 2-3 hours in Mumbai traffic, and instead of getting frustrated over this, he uses this time to do something productive.

5. Lastly, take that 5 minute break!

Lastly, the actor encourages people to take 5 minutes of rest in between your day. “Lastly, take that 5 minute break! Switch off every now and then, and do something you enjoy. Call a friend. Read something. Take a walk around the office. Drink a bottle of water. Actually, anything, that will take your mind off the tasks on hand.”

A surprising incident took place in a primary school in Madhya Pradesh, where a school headmistress failed to solve a simple “441/4” division problem.

Balaghat Collector and District Magistrate Girish Kumar Mishra conducted a surprise inspection visit and asked the primary school students to complete a math problem to gauge their level of understanding. The collector asked their class teacher, Sona Durve, who also serves as the school’s headmistress, to resolve the straightforward division problem when the kids were unable to do so.

But she too could not solve it and gave an incorrect answer. Because of this, Collector Dr. Girish Mishra severely reprimanded her, ordered her to halt one of her increments, and had her removed from Principal Pathak’s charge.

The video of the headmistress trying to solve the simple division problem is going viral on social media.

Not only that, but the collector then arrived at another government school that had been constructed as part of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh’s significant CM Rise program. There, Dineshwari Rahangdale, a teacher at CM Rice School Malanjkhand, also answered the question incorrectly.

Collector Dr. Mishra was alerted to the situation and ordered Dineshwari Rahangdale, a primary school teacher, to be given a show-cause notice.

Madhya Pradesh to start MBBS courses in Hindi, Medical Experts not Impressed.

Madhya Pradesh to start MBBS courses in Hindi, Medical Experts not Impressed.

The Madhya Pradesh government has declared that MBBS courses will be taught in Hindi from the upcoming session. However, many medical experts are not happy with this decision and are calling it “unfortunate.”

MBBS in hindi

Despite the Madhya Pradesh government’s groundbreaking decision to launch an MBBS program in Hindi beginning with the 2022–2023 academic year, medical professionals have expressed concerns about the decision due to the dearth of high-caliber books in the language on the topic.

Many medical professionals questioned the government regarding the availability of top-notch instructional materials on the subject in the language. At the Gandhi Medical College (GMC) in Bhopal, the state government intends to offer MBBS to first-year students.

In addition, the BJP chief minister stated that starting in July 2022, six colleges will offer polytechnic and BTech degree programs in Hindi as part of the National Education Policy (NEP).

“We are preparing textbooks in such a manner that those studying MBBS in Hindi will not lag behind after completion of the course as they will be learning all the technical and medical terms in English as well as in Hindi,” said state medical education minister Vishvas Sarang.

The government’s decision to offer MBBS in Hindi did not, however, seem to have won over the medical community’s experts

“I am not against imparting medical education in Hindi, but are quality textbooks with updated advancements in the field available for students?” Research articles published in quality medical journals like “Lancet”, “British Medical Journal” and “New England Medical Journal,” among others, take three to four years at least to find a place in textbooks.” Former vice-chancellor of Devi Ahilyabai Vishwa Vidyalaya Dr Bharat Chhaperwal said.

Speaking under the condition of anonymity, a former director of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) called the decision “unfortunate” but did not provide further details.
