The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the June 2022 term-end examination and students who appeared for the exams can now check their score at the official IGNOU website — ignou.ac.in.

“In case any student is uncovered to be booked under unfair standards, the result of the particular student will be canceled,” an official announcement from the IGNOU read.

Meanwhile, IGNOU has declared a training schedule for over 10,000 teachers. This announcement was made by the Vice Chancellor of the university on the occasion of India’s Independence day. “IGNOU is executed to deliver quality education at a reasonable cost to millions of aspiring students in various fields presented by the university,” stated Nageshwar Rao, V-C of IGNOU.

He counted that the university is operating to perform the national plans through the takeoff of new programs/courses in provincial languages as envisaged in the New Education Policy 2020 (NEP) to recognize the purpose of a 50 percent Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) by 2035.

A private school in Bhubaneswar was accused of confining dozens of students to a room for not paying fees on time. 34 students were kept in the room for 5 hours on Monday and were not allowed to eat, drink, or use the toilet.

A group of parents held a sit-in at Ghatikia on Tuesday, calling for stricter consequences for the teachers allegedly responsible for the harassment.

One of the parents said they had already paid tuition fees online, but it didn’t show in the records because of a technical issue. The teachers rejected the kids’ request to call their parents and tell them they were confined because their tuition fees hadn’t been paid on time. The school authorities then sent a notice to the students, asking them to give it to their guardians.
