MOTHER SUFFERED FROM A BRAIN HEMORRHAGE

Govind’s father and sisters have contributed a lot in getting Govind to this point in life. To complete Govind’s studies, his father Narayan Jaiswal also made many sacrifices.

In the year 2005, IAS Govind Jaiswal’s mother Indu died of a brain haemorrhage. Govind’s father, who owned a rickshaw company, with 35 rickshaws, had to sell off his company for his wife’s treatment. In the treatment of his wife, most of his rickshaws were sold and the family became financially unstable. At that time Govind was in 7th standard.

At that time, the entire family of Govind lived in a cell in Alipura, Kashi. During those days, many times Govind, his three sisters, and his father used to end their day eating only dry roti. However, Govind’s father did not leave any stone unturned to get his children a proper education. After his daughter finished her studies, Govind’s father also sold his remaining rickshaws for the wedding of his three graduate daughters.

USED TO TEACH TUITION TO SAVE MONEY

Govind did his early education from a government school located in Osmanpura. After that he did his graduation in Maths from Harishchandra University located in Varanasi itself. In the year 2006, Govind come to Delhi to prepare for the UPSC exam. In order to make some money Govind, along with his father started driving a rickshaw.

After Govind moved to Delhi, he started taking tuitions. Even then, he could not save enough. so, to save money, he stopped one-time tiffin and tea. Finally after all the struggles, in the year 2007 he secured 48th rank in his very first attempt.

CAT Preparation Tips & Tricks: Know How to Prepare for Quantitative Aptitude And Reading Comprehension

To excel in the country’s premier aptitude test CAT and come out with flying colours, a student should have conceptual knowledge in each test area and should also develop a strategy to face the exam. So here are some tips to ace CAT exam.

3 Social Media 960 × 480 px 27

It is the right combination of knowledge, approach, and skill which can help a candidate to be ready for the exam.

Quantitative Aptitude (QA): QA being the most challenging section to crack in CAT is the general apprehension among most of the candidates . The reasons why Quant can be the toughest section to crack are varied. Most students have good grasp of fundamentals but when an application based question comes they are all at sea. Most students also have a problem with time management.

IndiaEducation Counselling

Some don’t have raw speed of formulation and calculation. Whatever be your tale of woe, remember that your percentile score is fully dependent upon your ability to segregate the doable questions as per your strength along with the optimization of speed and accuracy.

The test makers of CAT are experienced enough. They are master of the art of mixing up easy and difficult questions. When you take the CAT, you will find that there are few absolutely easy questions that even 8th or 9th standard students can solve. You will also find the questions that are extremely tough in time bound scenario.

This is not done to identify and select the math majors !! The reason there is a mix of questions of varying difficulty level is that it reflects real life situations. But, given that you have deadline, you must pick and target the lowest hanging fruits(easy questions).

Through these sessions, youths were trained by experts on UNICEF’s style of content creation, why voices of youth are important and how youths can communicate messages to the masses in simpler language. This opportunity was made possible by Communication Associate Vineeta Misra Chitransi, Director Youth4water Jyoti Sharma, and WASH Specialist Shipra Saxena from UNICEF India, as well as Communication Specialist Radhika Srivastava.

Delhi University (DU) has made it mandatory for candidates applying to undergraduate programs through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) to submit category certificates. Candidates who were rejected in CSAS round 1 due to the non-availability of category certificate will be considered in the Unreserved category in round 2, “subject to meeting the merit of UR category and preference order”.

IndiaEducation Counselling

The University of Delhi has reiterated its advice to candidates from underrepresented groups to submit the required documents and certificates at the time of applying to the Common Seat Allocation System.

In a statement, the university said that it had advised candidates from SC, ST, EWS, OBC-NCL, and PwBD/ CW categories through its webinars, bulletin of information and public notices to submit the required documents in the prescribed format.

The university urged all candidates to follow the instructions carefully so that their applications could be processed smoothly.

The candidates who could not provide a category certificate during the first round of CSAS seat allocation will now be placed in the Unreserved Category for the second round, given that there are still seats available and that they meet the other allocation policies.

The university has shared that over 72,800 out of 80,164 candidates have accepted the college and course allotted to them in the first round of allocations. In DU, admissions to 79 UG programmes across 67 colleges, departments, and centres are being made through CUET scores for the first time this year.
